Our Services

Physical therapy is one of the best choices you can make when you have long-term (chronic) pain. It makes you stronger and helps you move and feel better.

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy is a specialised area of physiotherapy treating injuries and conditions which affect the muscles, joints, and soft tissues.

Damage to your central nervous system, including your brain and spinal cord, means that the messages from your brain are not reaching the affected parts of your body. This can result in loss of movement and sensation, uncoordinated movement, weak and floppy muscles, spasm and tremor.

Occupational therapy services may include comprehensive evaluations of the client's home and other environments (e.g., workplace, school), recommendations for adaptive equipment and training in its use, and guidance and education for family members and caregivers. Occupational therapy practitioners have a holistic perspective, in which the focus is on adapting the environment to fit the person, and the person is an integral part of the therapy team.

Orthotics and prosthetics management is the evaluation, fabrication and custom fitting of artificial limbs and orthopedic braces.

Speech and language therapy at IMR are focus towards assessment and intervention of communication, speech language, feeding eating and swallowing deficits.

In everything your child does – in school, in sports, in life – you want him or her to succeed and you want to provide the absolute best. Rehabilitation care should be no different. Your child is facing challenges right now that most children don't face. You are concerned about his or her current abilities and continued development. At IMR, we provide the expertise and motivation your child needs to keep growing strong.

Psychosocial support (PSS) is a set of interventions used to meet a person's emotional, social, mental, and spiritual needs. PSS is very important for the healthy development of all children and critical for orphaned and vulnerable children (OVC).
